In recent years, my work has increasingly expanded beyond still photography into the world of wildlife filmmaking and visual storytelling. I’m proud to have joined Rhulani Photo and Film in the productions department as Assistant Photographer and Filmmaker, where I have the opportunity to capture the beauty and drama of Africa’s wilderness.
Working alongside wildlife photographer and filmmaker Armand Grobler, I contribute to projects that combine both photography and cinematic filmmaking to create immersive visual stories from the field. Our work focuses on bringing audiences closer to the action — documenting the raw moments, powerful encounters, and untold narratives that unfold in wild places.
One of the projects I’m currently involved in is the upcoming production The Dark Continent, an ambitious project that blends both photography and film to explore Africa’s landscapes, wildlife, and the unique experiences that come with working in remote and untamed environments. The project aims to capture not only the beauty of these places but also the intensity, unpredictability, and emotion that define life in the wild.
Being part of Rhulani Photo and Film allows me to continue developing my skills in both photography and filmmaking while working alongside passionate creatives who share a deep respect for wildlife and conservation. Together, we strive to tell authentic stories from the field — stories that inspire people to appreciate and protect the natural world.
Through this collaboration, my goal remains the same as it has always been: to create visual work that connects people more deeply with nature and the extraordinary wildlife that inhabits it.
